Hi my name is Mbali and I really love to write. The only thing I love more than to write; other than God, my family, my friends and more important things – is music. I sometimes dabble in poetry, hence my psuedonym ‘Mbali Angelou’, I consider myself an Angelou daughter. Maya Angelou is one of my favourite writers, thinkers – and the beauty of her work inspires mine. I’m here to bare my heart about all the music that I love to listen to and the weird and colourful thoughts that grow in the garden of my mind as a result. This blog is dedicated to this verse from the Bible: Philippians 4:8 “Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things” in honour of Jesus and how His transformation of my life has changed the tune of the thoughts in my mind for the better & to celebrate this love He has given me for music.
